Policies
 
Sailing is supposed to be fun, so we try to keep policies and procedures to a minimum, but unfortunately we do need a few to conduct business.
 
Reservations. To reserve your position(s) in a class or charter we require a 50% deposit. Balance of payment is due 10 days prior to start of class or charter.
 
Payments. We accept most major credit cards. We will accept checks, but adequate time must be allowed for processing.
 
Cancellations. If you cancel more than 30 business days before your charter/class we will refund your deposit minus any expenses incurred on your behalf. If you cancel 30 business days or less prior to your charter/class then deposits are not refundable. However, we will credit your remaining deposit balance to future services.
 
Zero Tolerance. No illegal drugs are permitted aboard. The legal consequences for illegal drugs being discovered on-board can be severe. Bringing illegal drugs aboard puts everyone at risk. If you are discovered with any quantity of illegal drugs on-board, you will be reported to the appropriate authorities and arrangements will be made to turn you over to them as quickly as possible.
 
Weather. We can't control the weather and therefore cannot issue weather related refunds. However, if severe weather forces your charter or class to be rescheduled then we will credit your payment and work with you to reschedule for a future date.
 
Gratuities. Gratuities are not included in our rates, but in the charter industry gratuities of 10% to 20% are common practice. Gratuities are not required, but they are a very effective way to show that you enjoyed your charter.
